So I wrote this blog and then hit spell check and it vanished! GARGHHHHH! That's why I hate Pc's! They just suck no matter what! In any case, it was reallllly warm outside and I got stuck downtown because the Toronto Transit System was on strike. Yah! I know! Insane. It worked out pretty good though because Jason and I went for a walk to the park! weeeeeeeeee!
It was so warm outside we both felt like we were going to die or pass out! Then Jason attempted to tan. After upsetting some ants and getting bitten, he returned to our bench from his "tanning spot". Bwahahah. Then we went and got a pint and felt a whole lot better. Aah! To live the life of a Pia. Squirrels were seen. Shoop Shoop Shoop. I'm still radiating heat I'd absorbed during the day! ugh.
The night before, we attended this weird Kickball game we thought would be real fun but ended up being a bunch of losers in costumes picking people to be on their teams! Yah, grown adults...or so they seemed. Sheesh! So we went and got a pitcher instead. I love how beer can remedy any situation. ha!

So as predicted, X3 was pretty rad. I enjoyed muchly. Remember I dragged Jason along? Well, guess what he says right when the movie's done? Guess! "We're renting the first and second one tonight!". (He hadn't seen the other two) Yah. I guess I bring out the inner geek in people.
Geez. Poor Professor X. Sniffles.

Other than that, I've been a bit sick....still. I've decided that my tummy needs some major shaping up and shall do more crunches than normal. Ugh. Now tis time for some Lemon tea and maybe some ready-to-bake chocolate chip cookies. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Moving on swiftly, I appear to be a bit under the weather today. Sore throat and fever don't make for a very happy social Pia. I tried watching movies but there was nothing good to watch so I napped, well, snored, for about 3 hours. On the upside, my driving went really well today! Woooooot.

X-Men 3 opens tomorrow! Duuuuuuuuuude. Yeah, I know it may sound lame and all but come on! Kelsey Grammer as BEAST! Pfff. I don't care I'm going and I'm going alone if no one wants to see it! Well, actually, I'm kinda making Jason come with me....
He doesn't have to! I'm not forcing him...I love going to movies alone! Ask anyone.

So, I guess the Oilers won...again! woo. That's all i will say about it, although I didn't get to watch the game tonight (which is probably a good thing), because I've been studying for my citizenship test tomorrow! eeeeeek! I'm a bit nervous but when you think about how some people can live here and not speak English and STILL become a citizen by passing this test, you don't get so worried anymore.

As far as everything else goes, umm lets see, Jason came over for supper yesterday. Mother created a grand offering of lentils, veggies and some dead meat things. But LENTILS! woot. Thanks mother! She also provided us with 2, yes 2 bottles of Wine. Noice. I had a Manhattan for the 3rd time ever! Was still as yummy as I remembered. Umm....Jason bought us Pink Montaintops tickets! yay, I bought an extra for the Ca, when she comes a'visitin. It got sunnier out today. I'm glad. I have my Road Test on June 2nd. Ugh! Mother let me drive to her friend's house the other night! WOOO! She also screamed a tone point, no, make that yelped, when she thought I got too close to the curb-funny as shite! ha!

So I guess stuffs gotten better! Oh! Jason showed me the world of Home Movies! I'd only seen a couple but dude, they're rad. I could easily see them becoming rather addictive. Yes. Rather.

Anyways, now comes the question that has ben bothering me all night....

Avocado and Cucumber

We went for sushi last night. We being Jason and I. I had the Vegetarian kind, that consisted of avocado, cucumber and pickled raddish. yum! Jason had an assortment of four different kinds...one of which was eel. eeeeek!
Saki/Sake, was also involved. yumyumyum.

Now I don't want to hear another peep out of anyone about the Oilers for atleast a few hours. Geez! You guys are lame!

Past. Passed.

It's the hardest thing, letting go.
I am however, pleased to say, I have accomplished doing so.
We talked tonight. There was no awkwardness on my part. No strange feelings. Nothing but genuine concern and good feelings of friendship and closeness.
I feel good about this. It was hard enough but very much needed for me to be alright with things. Stuff's starting to smell better, let's just say that!

So I guess Hope is back, in a much altered form, but back nonetheless.
And I couldn't be happier.

It's the best feeling, when the weight drops off your shoulders.
The few seconds it is in mid air. Weightless. Then the crash. It's gone.

I'm just glad to announce that my battered heart may, once again, breathe.

The Missing Factor

I find myself missing everyone tonight. Myspace makes it worse because you keep looking at all the pictures on everyones profiles and remembering the fun and not so fun times. I really do miss my friends-everyone has flaws but they were and still are grand. Its just, when you're not around, you miss so much and then its not the same. Theres no continuation of the history, just old stories.

I guess one just has to make new ones right? Friends shouldn't forget. Good friends wouldn't for sure.

I even miss rob.

Me & I

The above picture is me on a day I decide to put an effort into looking cute....which happens to be every opportunity I get to go out....which doesn't happen to be often and yet I guess I'm not making an effort to do that either.
But alas! I do get to go out, and happened to visit my dear lady Kimmy last night, who's back in the T-dot and shaking things up. I found my way downtown, got onto the street car and just about died because I happened to sit next to one of the cutest boys I've seen in a while! Grrr....anyways, I even go to ask him for directions to Sneaky Dee's! yay.
So Kimmy introduced me to two of her lady friends, very nice indeed, and we drank a couple of beers. Good times.
The train ride back smelt like someone had taken a fresh poo nearby. Wonderful!



This picture, however, is me, right now. I am tired. I drove today. Still getting mixed up with Left and Right-yah I know, grown woman and all. Ha! I got to post Mark a "Surprise" today. Made it meself. I drove mum insane because I had an urge to drink some sweet bubble tea, but our quest was all in vain because even Asian people didn't know what the hell we were talking about-they kept pointing to various restaurants and smiling. Gah!

I checked up on hair schools today and have decided to do it. It'd be fun and who doesn't want a friend who can do your hair for little to no money? hmmmm? So I guess I start at Marvel in Ottawa in September. Yay! Well hopefully I can get a bank loan first!

A potluck, show, subway/bus event.

So I went to a Guitar Potluck this weekend. It turned out to be fun and eventful. Also, I met 6 people from Edmonton there! Go figure. I guess we all flock together. Guitars were played, Poison songs were sung, silly songs were made, harmonizing took place. Oh yes, good funions.

Kelly took me to see Moneen, Circa Survive and Saves The Day after. I really wanted to see Circa Survive, but we missed them...boo. Oh well...Moneen is always fun so it was grand!

Kelly gave me a ride to the subway after the show and I made it to the right subway station to catch the bus home, but the bus I required stopped running and so I began to panic so a cab was called, but the cab never got there, then mum called all paniced and told me another bus I could take....blah blah...I made it home finally....poor mum!

I just caught mum pouring herself some gin and tonic....and I wasn't even offered some! Thats ok, she made me a glass full after some whining took place. yay.
